Your mission
Purpose of the role
The Knowledge Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to knowledge management within cosine. The role ensures that critical knowledge—technical, operational, organizational, and procedural—is captured, organized, and accessible to all employees through e-learning platforms, knowledge bases, and other digital tools.
This position plays a key role in supporting high-quality work, reducing knowledge gaps, strengthening onboarding, and enabling continuous learning across teams and locations
Your profile
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategy:
    • Create and manage a scalable strategy for capturing, distributing, and managing knowledge through e-learning and similar initiatives.
  • Manage learning content:
    • Oversee the creation and maintenance of digital asset libraries for multimedia and educational content, including user guides and tutorials.
  • Maintain knowledge bases:
    • Ensure e-learning platforms and knowledge bases are up-to-date, organized, and accessible to all relevant employees.
  • Foster a culture of learning:
    • Train and encourage team members to document processes, share their knowledge, and actively participate in continuous learning and improvement programs.
  • Analyse and improve effectiveness:
    • Use analytics to monitor the impact, engagement, and effectiveness of e-learning strategies, making improvements based on user feedback and data.
  • Integrate new technologies:
    • Collaborate with IT to integrate innovative tools and technologies into e-learning platforms.
  • Manage user engagement:
    • Lead campaigns to drive participation, such as creating newsletters and email updates to promote courses and events.
  • Ensure accessibility:
    • Work to ensure all e-learning materials comply with accessibility standards like WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

Essential Skills & Competencies
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive knowledge management strategy.
  • E-learning expertise: Knowledge of e-learning development, efficient to implement these in new platforms like Odoo, and instructional design principles.
  • Data analysis: Proficiency in using analytics to measure and report on the impact and effectiveness of knowledge management efforts.
  • Communication and facilitation: Excellent skills in communication, training, and influencing others to adopt new knowledge-sharing practices.
  • Technical proficiency: Experience with knowledge management systems, content management systems, and related technologies.
  • Time management: Ability to manage multiple e-learning projects in parallel, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Your qualifications and experience
  • Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree (hbo/wo), preferably in educational sciences, information science, industrial engineering, instructional design, communication, (digital) learning, or a related field.
  • Affinity with R&D/technology/engineering is preferred
  • Experience with documentation, content development, or knowledge management. 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
